It's a boy. And another boy!

While we don't officially have custody of the boys, they are soon to be Matthew Isaiah & Micah Jonathan Malone.

First of all...we are blessing the name of the Lord.  He has done great things.  Greater things are yet to come.

Court was a bit late getting started.  In fact, we were originally scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and the Loux's at 3:00 p.m.  But they both got moved to 3:00 p.m.  Our's was first, then the Loux's.  First, let me just say that when George caught up with us at about 1:30, he told us that he had gotten word that the two jurors had declined their "invitiation" to come to court.  How they can do that?  I don't know.  But he went to visit them.  The woman juror simply didn't want to be away from work because her co-workers might think badly of her.  When she found out what the court was for, she agreed to come.  The other juror was a bit more complicated. George went to see him and he said that he could not agree to the adoption because the only reason we would want to adopt the boys with DS would be to harvest their organs.  George tried to talk to him and explain but he would not hear it.  Finally, the man asked if we were believers.  George said that we are.  And then the man said that he would come to court and approve of the adoption because since we are believers he knows that the children are safe with us.  Praise God! If these jurors had not come, our court and Loux's would have been cancelled and would have had to be rescheduled.  Ouch.  I'm sure glad we knew nothing of this until it was worked out.

I'll give more details later, but praise God we are parents again.  !!!!!!!!  We never thought we would be mommy and daddy again!!!  Wow!!!

Thank you for your prayers.  We do have the 10 day waiting period.  We are thanking God for it because He has His ways and plans and we are so glad to be included in them.

It's about midnight here.  The Loux's are upstairs resting and we will see them off to the airport at 3:00 a.m. and then we're off to bed!  In case you missed it, we are in Brovary (outside of Kiev) at Yuri & Sveta's guest house with Jamie!  We'll have a great week and will be so excited to go collect our kids and be off to America!!

We are SO EXCITED!!

Blessed Be the Name of the Lord!

I am so glad to hear court is over. I've been as nervous as a grandmother, pacing in the hall of the hospital waiting for a new baby. I've checked the site a dozen times today. God has been so in control. Get some sleep & enjoy your time in Kiev. I'll continue to pray for you & the boys. Once again God receives the glory.

I've been away on a BSF retreat (where the new Malone kids were mentioned a time or two (<: ) What joy to read of God's power and mercy when I got back home. What God plans always is accomplished. We are rejoicing with you and praising HIM with you! We look forward to your home-coming! God speed!
