Blessed be the Name of the Lord…

Here’s Misha…

DSCF2122

He is at the mental institution in Romaniv.  He has lost a lot of weight since he was moved here in October.  He’s become quite frightened of everything and is very scared.  He was hungry the whole time we were with him and he pointed at his mouth, pointed out the window at the “canteen”, and searched our bags for food.

It was a very emotional day for lots of reasons.  But we are trusting God to do what He alone is able to do…

There are some paperwork problems, but that’s apparently to be expected.  So…there you go.

Here’s some more pictures of our visit with him…

Misha loved looking at the pictures in the photo album.  He can say “hannah.”

Ummm…yes.  We spilled the big bottle of bubbles on the carpet.  :-)

Misha already calls us Mama and Papa.  He has no concept of what that is…but it’s nice to hear the words.  :-)

Our visit with Matthew tonight was very sweet.  He remembered us.
When we left, he screamed and cried.  It broke our hearts, but it’s good that he’s getting attached to us.

Thanks for the prayers.  We have several large barriers to climb, but God IS FAITHFUL!  Thanks for your love and support.

NANA:  Thank you.  Thank you.  Thank you.  We love you.

KIDS:  We miss you terribly.  We look at your pictures often.  We can not wait to come home and be with you.  We love you will ALL of our hearts.  Take care of each other!!

BLAKE:  Don’t forget that Seth NEEDS hugs.  You initiate it and give him real hugs.

All our love to you!

PS:  we’ll post a video of Misha hopefully tomorrow.  Today was a FULL day.  Tomorrow may be too, but Saturday is coming.  :-)  \o/

What next?

So glad to see him!! He actually looks GREAT to me! Yes, a little thinner and of course in his situation a good amount of fresh fruit and bread and yogurt-- whatever you can let him eat while you visit with him will be great. I'm so proud of you guys for going not the 'easy' route but the one that puts the kiddos first and allows God to work through you to the best of those kids! God Bless You!
